Danica over at Oh, Hello There did a cute post about this collection from My Pet Square, and I couldn't not steal it. How darling is that haircut?

I'm probably the last one to find these, but in all my house tour scouring, I've seen these prints scattered around homes and always wondered where they came from. Today I stumbled on to the source via Lovely Design's Flickr, and I wanted to keep note of it for future reference. Buy them here at Good Shape Design.

I was browsing through Desire to Inspire today and couldn't help but notice this colorful, happy-looking home of Stacy Anne Longenecker. What I especially noticed was her curated art wall and carefully placed shelves. It is NOT easy to set up an art wall, let me tell you. I haven't seen that many art walls that really resonated with me, so thank you, Stacy Anne, you made my day. And what a cute couple you two make.

Aside from my sudden craving to start wearing sweater and oxfords, I'm starting to get a real sense that summer is ending. For one, school has started again. Trent and I have identical classes in Ethics and Sign Language and I'm really enjoying this faster pace and walking around campus again. For two, I can't buy watermelons anymore. I've been eating an entire watermelon by myself every single week for the entire summer. Two weeks ago I tried to get another watermelon, and it was terrible. I had to throw the whole thing away. I thought it was a fluke, and so yesterday I went back for another, and it ended up being the most disgusting watermelon I've ever eaten. I think they're done for the season. I am mourning a little.

On to cantaloupe, I guess.

I just wanted to take a moment and tell you about how much I love Chelsea's jewelry. I was involved in the giveaway she hosted a couple of weeks ago, and she kindly rewarded me with this darling ring that I had had my eye on.

I've mentioned it a few times now, but I have her Gold Star Mothers necklace, and I wear it all the time. I'm very drawn to her eye to detail and exquisite craftsmanship. Her style definitely resonates with my own small, simple tastes.

I treated myself and bought her Golden Vein design, and I can't stop raving about it. In my opinion, it's the most fantastic piece in her shop, and I'm really very proud to own it now. Not only does she send you her darling creation, but she wraps it most impeccably. The girl uses a typewriter, for crying out loud.

I consider Chelsea a very talented blogger, designer, and friend, so please head over there and check out her shop and blog and drop her some kind words of encouragement.

Blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup and orange juice for Sunday brunch. We're totally taking it easy after a hard week of work and school. The recipe I always use is from here. I'm totally converted to making pancakes from scratch. It's definitely not the same as those pre-mixed bags.

Then some mini pancakes to finish off the batter. I'll freeze them by stacking them between parchment paper and then pop them in the toaster for a quick breakfast. I hardly ever time for anything except a banana eaten in the car and a cup of tea, so this will be a deliciously welcomed change.

I'm a total sucker for the blog Fine Little Day, and the same goes for the Fine Little Shop. I could buy it all up. Yes, I really could.

Kate over at Hello Lindello did a post about these Turkish bath towels, and wow. I honestly can't live with myself right now. I need them. I know I write about all the things I need and want on this blog, and yes, I need and want many things-- but these, these I need. In every sense of that word.

Now if you'll excuse me while I go convince my boyfriend that we need new towels.

I'm dying to buy this dress, but I'm simultaneously terrified that I'll look like on of those 1920's illustrations of a little girl with the bob haircut and the giant bow on the head. Do you know what I'm talking about? My point is, I'd be walking around and feel like I was wearing some sort of Lolita costume, and I'm not really a public costume wearer. Please, someone convince me that I wouldn't look absolutely ridiculous in this.

I know this Design Sponge tour is from last year, but I hardly think anyone will mind a little recap. I'm a HUGE fan of Jenna's blog, Sweet Fine Day. It has a lot to do with the fact that her entire blog, complete with pictures is viewable at my work. It's really difficult for me to do any blogging with the fascist Internet filter holding me back. Seriously. We don't even have google images! But who's complaining? ;P

The point is, I'm obsessed with Jenna's witty, insightful prose and gorgeous photography. If there's one blog in the world that pushed me to be true with myself, it's hers. I'm jealous of her ability to be completely honest about the ups and downs of daily living. Honesty is scary.

So... it's only natural that her house is a New York, light-filled dream. I really wanted to keepsake it.

Mr. Polar Bear was featured on Etsy's front page today! I'm feeling quite pink-cheeked and honored about it. As a result, I sold two more items today-- Mr. Polar Bear and the sweet wooden poetry blocks. What amazing timing this was too. I've been having a difficult week, and I felt on the verge of closing this whole thing up and focusing energies elsewhere else, so this was a real God-send. Thank you, Marie, for featuring Mr. Polar Bear and for giving my little shop some much-needed love.

I know it's small in the grand scheme of things, but when I spend nine dollars on a sandwich, I want to get the baguette like you promised on the menu, not soft whole wheat. It's been one of those days where you cry over a sandwich.

It's perfect. You know when things just resonate with you and your body has an involuntary reaction at the sight of it? That happened to me 5 minutes ago when I saw this. It's someone else's now, which doesn't sit easy, but I'm just happy it exists. From here.

I'm looking for a replacement bag. Every few years, after I've worn it to shreds, I go on the hunt. My current bag is a knockoff of this Marc Jacobs bag (of which I CANNOT find an original non-replica picture of), and it's my favorite bag I've ever had.

I'd really like to get something sturdy and large enough to hold all my crap, but small enough that I stop losing my phone and keys. I'm not even joking when I say I originally bought it as a carry-on bag for my first plane ride. It's ridiculously large and impractical as a purse, yet I bring it everywhere I go.
